2018 Chaparral 287 SSX

The 2018 Chaparral 287 SSX is a 29-foot fiberglass bowrider built for watersports and family cruising. Powered by a MerCruiser 8.2 MAG engine with 380 horsepower and Bravo 3 X sterndrive, it delivers strong performance with the convenience of pushbutton start and fly-by-wire shifting. The hull features an upgraded ebony finish with metallic silver boot stripe, an extended swim platform with stainless boarding ladder, and an electric folding wakeboard tower with hardtop.

The cockpit combines comfort and functionality with factory original upholstery, a pedestal-mounted cocktail table, and fiberglass flooring with premium snap-in Sea Grass. Dual Garmin multifunction displays with preloaded GPS integrate with all engine and systems readouts. Entertainment comes from a Wetsounds marine stereo system with cockpit and transom speakers featuring built-in LED accent lighting. The head includes premium wood cabinetry, an unused porta potty, sink, and shower.

Equipment includes electric trim tabs, premium LED docking lights, underwater LEDs, a stainless steel anchor windlass package, and aft controls for stereo and trim at the transom. Twin batteries with a selector switch support the electrical systems. Bow and cockpit covers are included.

The engine has logged only 65 original hours and was recently serviced. The hull maintains a high-gloss gelcoat finish with no fading, oxidation, scratches, or dock marks. The swim platform shows stress marks on the port and starboard sides from thin wall construction, a minor cosmetic note. Throughout, vinyl upholstery and mechanical systems remain clean and fully functional.
