2018 Contender 39 Fisharound

The 2018 Contender 39 Fisharound is a 39-foot fiberglass walkaround powered by four Mercury 350 Verado engines totaling 1,400 horsepower. Built for serious fishing and cruising, the boat features a full folding tower designed for trailering, polycarbonate rounded windshield, and extensive custom LED lighting throughout the cabin, gunwales, tower, and underwater. Navigation is handled by dual Garmin 8617 displays, closed-dome radar, and autopilot, with triple Garmin VHF radios for communication. The audio system includes a JL Audio MediaMaster head unit with full speaker package, dual 12-inch subwoofers, and amplifiers.

The cabin offers custom layout with a dual-burner stovetop, microwave, and stainless refrigerator/freezer, with SeaDek flooring throughout the main cabin and secondary station. A side dive door with quick-release four-step telescopic ladder provides easy water access. The boat incorporates a custom closed transom with a third livewell, sea chest pump box with additional above-deck inlets and outlets for livewells, and macerated fish boxes.

Fishing amenities include carbon fiber outriggers, an electric retractable cooler with cushion, an anchor chute with windlass, and a flush stainless plate for rocket launcher. The hull was recently compounded and waxed. An included trailer has had all hubs, bearings, brakes, tires, and lug nuts recently replaced.
