The 2018 Contender 39 ST is a center console fishing boat powered by triple Mercury 400 hp V10 engines, freshly installed in 2024 with approximately 170 hours of running time. The 39-foot fiberglass hull spans 10.83 feet in beam and includes a single head. A full boat cover and trailer are included.
The electronics suite is comprehensive and recent. Twin Garmin 9219 XSV multi-function displays form the core navigation system, supported by a 9-inch Mercury display, Garmin Fantom 250W open array radar, GSD 28 sounder module with 3kW transducer, autopilot, and a 54-inch light bar. Communication and navigation equipment includes a Garmin VHF 300 radio, FLIR night vision camera, GXM 54 weather and audio antenna, and GPS 24X antenna. A NMEA 2000 to WiFi converter and Blue Net Gateway 30 manage network connectivity. The sound system includes JL Audio speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers. The control system features a custom switch panel with Bluewater switches and four electric reel outlets.
Auxiliary power and propulsion equipment includes four new Group 31 Odyssey batteries for engines and house power, plus two new Power Pole 110-inch trolling motors mounted on Sea Swivel brackets with lithium batteries and dedicated chargers. A NOCO Gen 3 battery charger rounds out the electrical infrastructure.
The boat includes fishing and operational features: a free fall windlass with 600 feet of anchor rode, in-floor livewell, sea chest livewell pump box system, fresh and salt water washdowns, electric head with Y-valve, underwater lights, under gunnel lighting, and Rupp outriggers with carbon fiber poles. The hull received ceramic coating and protective film on the engines in 2025. Upholstery was refreshed in 2026. The boat has been kept indoors and on a lift for much of its life.
