The 2018 Custom Cutter 48 is a 48-foot ocean-going sailing yacht designed by Patrick Balta, built with composite construction and finished in wood and stainless steel. She combines traditional retro lines with contemporary performance, built to handle extended cruising in distant waters. Powered by a single 45-horsepower Peugeot diesel engine, she reaches a maximum speed of 7 knots and cruises efficiently at 6 knots. Her composite hull and thoughtful design prioritize low weight and performance without unnecessary complexity.

The accommodation plan features three cabins with flexible sleeping arrangements, plus one head. The saloon can be converted into additional berths when needed, providing flexibility for family or crew. All spaces are well-ventilated and accessible, with easy access to the sea. The layout emphasizes intuitive ergonomics and livability, designed to be comfortable for extended passages.
