2018 Dragonfly 28 Performance

The 2018 Dragonfly 28 Performance is a composite-built sailing yacht designed for both speed and cruising comfort. Powered by a single 20 hp Honda gasoline engine, it reaches a maximum speed of 24 knots with a cruising speed of 9 knots. The boat carries a 13.6-meter carbon mast and a full suite of Elvström EPEX sails: a 43 m² mainsail, a 21.5 m² foresail on roller furler, a 45 m² Code 0 with Bartels stacker, and an 83 m² asymmetric spinnaker.

Below deck, the layout includes a forward double cabin, an aft guest cabin, and a separate head compartment. This arrangement balances comfort with the performance requirements of fast cruising in a 28-foot platform.

The boat comes equipped with lithium battery banks for extended off-grid operation and includes a trailer. Regular maintenance and dry winter storage have been part of its history since new.
