2018 Fountaine Pajot SABA 50

The 2018 Fountaine Pajot SABA 50 is a 50-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 150-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines. Built as the four-cabin Maestro layout, the yacht combines distinctive design with practical offshore performance. The hull form and rig are engineered for single-handed sailing from the helm station, making this size catamaran notably manageable for cruising.

Accommodation centers on a large salon with 360-degree views, four cabins with slatted-base beds, and five heads with electric fresh and salt water options. The two forepeak crew cabins feature air conditioning ducted from the main 40,000 BTU unit. A full galley includes washer and dryer, complemented by a Spectra 340-gallon watermaker and hot and cold water systems throughout. Cork decking in the cockpit, helm, and transom areas define the primary living spaces.

The boat carries substantial equipment for cruising: twin Raymarine display packages with radar, AIS, autopilot, and backup camera; 13.5-kilowatt generator and 2,000-watt inverter-charger; three 165-watt solar panels with battery monitors; entertainment systems including a 42-inch smart television and Fusion audio; and safety gear including a liferaft. New sail drive seals, bottom paint, and exterior cushions are recent work.

Rigging includes a PROFURL genoa furler, parasailor, electric winch for the mainsail, and a bowsprit configured for a gennaker. The hydraulic aluminum davits include a SUP cradle. A full cockpit enclosure and bimini provide weather protection for the helm and foredeck areas.
