2018 Hinckley Picnic Boat 37 MKIII

The 2018 Hinckley Picnic Boat 37 MKIII is a 37-foot downeast cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 870 horsepower combined. The boat reaches speeds of approximately 30 knots and cruises comfortably at 28 knots. A Seakeeper gyro stabilization system is installed for smooth operation across varying sea conditions.

The boat features the Hinckley Jet-Stick 4 joystick control system, recently installed in 2026, which provides intuitive helm handling and precision maneuvering. The 2024 refit included new teak decking throughout, teak combings, and a redesigned bow rail with a lower profile. The helm station includes newly reupholstered Stidd chairs and an upgraded Garmin electronics suite. A teak pilot house is also part of the design.

Additional equipment includes an onboard generator and upgraded Jet-Stick antenna. The boat's beam measures 11 feet 3 inches, providing a stable platform suitable for extended cruising. Maintenance records show consistent upkeep since delivery.
