2018 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389

This 2018 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389 is a 38-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed as a practical cruiser. The boat features a shallow draft of 4'11", making it well-suited for exploring coastal and shallow-water anchorages. Power comes from a single 29 hp Yanmar diesel engine. Recent upgrades include a comprehensive suite of new Raymarine electronics featuring an integrated navigation system with Axiom chart plotter, autopilot controls, and multifunction display, along with new VHF radio and EPIRB. New navigation lighting, battery charger, engine regulator, and fresh batteries were also installed.

Below deck, the layout includes a forward cabin and aft cabin with a central galley and saloon. The galley features an oven, burner, large top-loading refrigerator, and double sink. The saloon table folds to create additional sleeping space and converts to U-shape seating for entertaining. A dedicated garage accessible from both the aft shower and cockpit provides abundant storage throughout.

On deck, the cockpit is spacious with a central folding table and teak-accented seating protected by a new custom dodger. A full-beam swim platform with telescopic ladder and fold-down capability sits at the stern. Canvas upgrades include new dodger, bimini cover, mainsail stack pack cover, and genoa with UV protection. Both backstays were replaced. An inflatable tender with outboard and under one hour of use is included.

Additional systems include new fire extinguishers, red night lighting inside and out with ambient lighting, and a secondary fuel gauge. A single head serves the accommodation.
