This 2018 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 is a 41-foot cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull with a 5-foot 1-inch shoal draft, designed by Philippe Briand. Powered by a 45 hp Yanmar diesel engine with 2,240 hours, it features a saildrive with three-bladed folding propeller. The yacht carries a traditional mainsail with lazy jacks, a 110% jib, and an electric anchor windlass paired with a 65-pound Mantus M1 spade anchor and 150 feet of chain, plus two backup anchors. A Starlink Gen 2 satellite internet terminal and an Ecoflow Wave battery-powered air conditioner are included.
The accommodations comprise three cabins and two heads, with the master stateroom forward and two queen-sized staterooms aft. The interior is bright and refined. Air conditioning is installed in the main salon and aft cabins with electric flush toilets throughout. Galley equipment includes a two-burner stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, a 23-quart portable fridge, and microwave. Standard 115VAC wiring runs throughout.
The electrical system is extensively upgraded for extended cruising. Four 140 AH LiFePO4 house batteries (560 AH total) are paired with a 2 kW Xantrex inverter, battery isolator, and Simarine Pico monitor. Solar power comes from 700 watts of panels: 300 watts of CIGS panels on the cabin top and four 100-watt panels along the lifelines. Navigation systems include a 12-inch Axiom multifunction display, upgraded Raymarine Quantum 2 radar with Doppler, and an upgraded Standard Horizon GX2400 VHF with AIS integration. Core sailing electronics provide depth, speed, wind data, and autopilot.
Tenders and canvas include an 8-foot Highfield RIB with Hypalon construction, a backup 8-foot West Marine rollup inflatable, and a 6 hp Tohatsu outboard. Bimini and dodger canvas are installed. Bottom paint in Seahawk Biocop was applied in May 2025.
