2018 Lagoon 42

This 2018 Lagoon 42 catamaran features a four-cabin layout built on a fiberglass hull. Twin 150-horsepower Yammer diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 8.1 knots and a maximum speed of 8.9 knots. The 42-foot beam spans 25.25 feet, providing the beam and stability characteristic of the model. The boat accommodates four cabins and four heads.

Recent upgrades include a new mast, boom, and standing rigging installed after hurricane damage, along with a new aluminum bowsprit. The sail plan consists of a fully battened 592-square-foot mainsail and self-tacking jib. Navigation electronics are comprehensive: B&G systems including a Halo Radar, S3 chartplotter with 12-inch display, Triton2 multi-display, NAC-3 autopilot core pack, and a backup autopilot system, all installed between 2021 and 2024. A Raymarine DST800 transducer and B&G wind sensor round out the suite. VHF communications include B&G V60-B radio with integrated AIS, wireless handset, and a NAIS 500 AIS receiver.

Onboard systems support extended cruising. A Rainman watermaker produces 40 gallons per hour with a membrane replaced in 2024. Five air-conditioning units and a 40-liter water heater provide comfort. The battery bank is new AGM, installed in 2024. Four electric heads and upgraded interior cushions from 2025 complete the accommodations. Starlink satellite internet is installed for connectivity.

Recent maintenance and upgrades span 2023 through 2025: new trampoline, refreshed bottom paint, updated cockpit cushions, Fusion marine stereo, Samsung television, and an Isotherm cockpit refrigerator. A West Marine rigid inflatable tender with a 20-horsepower four-stroke outboard is included. Extensive spare parts inventory is aboard.
