2018 Lagoon 42

This 2018 Lagoon 42 is a well-maintained cruising catamaran built with fiberglass and powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 hp each. The hull measures 43 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, offering substantial space and stability. The boat was delivered in late 2017 and has had limited ownership with no charter history.

The layout includes four cabins and four heads, accommodating a cruising family or group comfortably. The saloon features air conditioning, fans, and a galley equipped with a microwave and dual refrigeration—a main unit plus an additional 100-litre fridge. The aft cockpit and lounges are outfitted with dark grey cushions, and a teak cockpit with hard top, windscreen, and side covers provides weather protection and a sheltered helm station.

The boat is equipped for self-sufficient cruising and remote exploration. Power systems include an Onan 11 kVa generator, a 2,000-watt inverter, upgraded 2,500Ah batteries, and fixed solar panels mounted over the davits. Freshwater production is handled by a Spectra 12V water maker. Navigation and communication systems feature Raymarine electronics including a 12-inch display, AIS 400 transceiver, 4G radar, and dual VHF handsets. Additional equipment includes a Highfield CL340 RIB tender with 20hp Honda outboard, a six-man life raft, and a KOMBA dive compressor with scuba gear.

For sailing, the boat carries a square-top mainsail, headsail, and optional Code Zero with pole. The twin Yammer engines feature three-blade folding propellers for improved efficiency under sail. Recent upgrades include Starlink satellite connectivity, additional fixed solar panels, and new battery capacity.
