2018 Lagoon 52 S

This 2018 Lagoon 52 S catamaran is a 52-foot fiberglass cruising yacht powered by twin 160-horsepower Yammer diesels with sail drive systems. The boat has been extensively upgraded and refitted between 2023 and 2026, with work including new Epoch lithium battery banks totaling 1840 ampere-hours, a 3400-watt solar array feeding a 6000-watt inverter system, a 240-liter-per-hour watermaker, and a 14-kilowatt diesel generator. All systems run on 12V, 220V, and 110V power. The rig includes a mainsail and jib both new in 2022, a 250-square-meter symmetrical spinnaker added in April 2024, and a 150-square-meter gennaker with Karver furler also from April 2024. Running rigging was upgraded with Gottfriedi Maffioli line, and a bowsprit with blocks for downwind sails was added in 2024. Navigation electronics were completely refreshed in 2023–2025 with B&G systems and Starlink Gen2 satellite connectivity.

The layout comprises six cabins and six ensuite heads. Two larger cabins open directly onto the aft cockpit. The yacht is configured for single or short-handed sailing despite its size, with three Lewmar 50ST power winches at the helm, a self-tacking genoa, and all running lines led aft. A full air-conditioning system with reverse-cycle capability provides climate control throughout. A center console dinghy tender is davit-launched.

The diesels are low-consumption models rated at 80 horsepower each, with fresh seal and bearing work completed in January 2025. The boat carries nearly 1000 liters of fuel and freshwater capacity, supporting extended offshore passages. Solar, battery, and inverter systems were all renewed in 2025 and are integrated with Victron chargers and inverters for independent power management. The yacht includes a washing machine, multiple refrigerators and freezers, and reverse-cycle air conditioning suitable for world cruising and extended live-aboard use.
