The 2018 Leopard 51 Powercat is a 51-foot fiberglass catamaran with a 25-foot beam, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 740 horsepower combined. The design balances performance with spacious living, featuring a three-cabin layout with private ensuites in each, configured for 240V power supply. The interior combines an open-plan saloon with a flybridge offering multiple helm and entertainment zones, including a wet bar with electric grill, ice maker, refrigeration, and generous counter space throughout.
Accommodation and equipment reflect a comprehensive cruising platform. Onboard systems include an 11 kVA generator, Stella water maker, Raymarine sounders with camera and autopilot, Fusion marine stereo, and marine radio. Navigation and handling are enhanced by bow thrusters in both hulls and a Dockmate joystick remote. Four 150-watt solar panels and four 260Ah AGM house batteries provide auxiliary power. The flybridge hardtop and enclosed aft cockpit with fly screens shelter the outdoor spaces.
Recreation-focused features include multiple fishing rod holders with a built-in filleting table, and a Sirocco center console tender. Fresh and salt water systems provide washdown capability at forward and aft stations. LED overhead and floor lighting throughout offers flexibility with dimmer controls in the saloon. A washing machine, dryer, and enhanced swim ladder complete the specification. The catamaran has benefited from recent upgrades including a new Rocna anchor, Sovereign barbecue with new aft lighting, upgraded aft sink, and new aft cockpit enclosure.
