This 2018 Leopard 58 is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson & Caine in Cape Town, designed by Simonis Voogd for blue-water cruising. At nearly 58 feet long with a 27-foot beam, the yacht combines robust construction with the volume and stability characteristic of the Leopard platform. Twin Yammer diesel engines power the boat, supported by a Fisher Panda generator for auxiliary electricity.
The accommodation plan includes six guest cabins with ensuite heads, a crew cabin forward in the port hull, and an owner's suite in the starboard hull providing generous private space. The main salon is bright and functional. The galley on the portside is equipped with a five-burner gas stove and oven, microwave, ample counter space, and a large Vitfrigo refrigeration unit. The cockpit and flybridge are laid out for both entertaining and passage-making, with outdoor refrigeration, a stainless steel barbecue, full canvas enclosures, and an upper helm station outfitted with Raymarine electronics and engine controls.
Onboard systems include air conditioning, an inverter, a watermaker, bow thruster, and electric windlass. The engine rooms are spacious and accessible. The mast, rigging, trampolines, decks, and hulls appear sound above the waterline. The twin Yammer engines have approximately 3,250 hours recorded. Interior soft goods, upholstery, headliners, and blinds show minimal wear. The exterior requires cleaning due to environmental exposure in port but no major structural defects were observed. Some items including sails, dinghy, outboard, and life raft are not currently aboard.
