The 2018 NauticStar 223DC combines the handling of a V-hull with the open entertaining space of a deck boat. At 22 feet 7 inches long with an 8-foot 6-inch beam, the boat is powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine. The fiberglass hull features a sharp entry forward and planing pods with an air-assist chine designed for responsive acceleration and smooth ride characteristics, while the aft deadrise and wide transom support towing duties.

The layout centers on social use and day boating. The open deck accommodates multiple guests with seating throughout, while a portside mid-ship dressing room provides privacy and convenience. A panoramic wrap-around walk-through windshield spans the cabin for visibility and weather protection. Leather-touch upholstery, eleven drink holders, and seven storage compartments are integrated throughout the boat.

Construction is all fiberglass with no wood, contributing to durability and low maintenance. The hull design includes a shallow water draft suitable for beaching and fishing in shallow areas.
