The 2018 Nordhavn 76 "Kemah" is an aft pilothouse motor yacht built on an asymmetrical hull design that maximizes interior volume. She features a bulbous bow, extended swim platform, and a layout across four decks: main deck with salon, galley, and primary stateroom; lower deck with two guest cabins, laundry, and engine room; upper pilothouse deck with captain's cabin; and flybridge. The single John Deere 6135AFM diesel main engine produces 500 horsepower at 2000 rpm and has logged 1387 hours. A secondary 160-horsepower John Deere 4045 AFM wing engine with 323 hours provides auxiliary propulsion and hydraulic support. The yacht cruises at approximately 3500 nautical miles on standard fuel capacity.
Accommodations include the full-beam primary stateroom with king bed, ensuite bath with shower and granite vanity, and walk-in closet. Two lower guest cabins each feature a queen bed and ensuite head. The pilothouse includes a captain's cabin with shower. The main salon spans full beam to port with varnished teak wainscoting, L-shaped sofa, and Ekornes recliner. A formal dining area seats six at a custom charco wood table. The galley is equipped with dual refrigerators with freezer drawers, two additional freezers in the utility room, dishwasher, double stainless sink, electric cooktop, and microwave. Six-foot-ten headroom throughout creates an open feel. All exterior doors are molded fiberglass with phantom screens. Frameless windows bonded into the hull eliminate corrosion.
Power and systems reflect comprehensive upgrades. Twin Northern Lights generators (20kw new 2025, 25kw secondary) provide electrical capacity. Hydraulic systems include a 50-horsepower bow thruster, 38-horsepower stern thruster, 16-square-foot stabilizer fins, dual Maxwell 4500 windlasses, and 180-gallon-per-minute emergency bilge pump. A 1200-gallon-per-day Dometic watermaker with media filter provides self-sufficiency. Kabola hydronic heating and Cruisair 108,000 BTU tempered water HVAC offer year-round comfort. Extensive sound attenuation with multiple layers of insulation throughout reduces engine noise. A custom Veem five-blade propeller was installed during the April 2026 haul-out based on computational fluid dynamics optimization, with the original four-blade ZF propeller included as spare.
Navigation electronics are comprehensive, with dual Furuno chart plotters, 25kw and secondary radars, integrated autopilots at multiple stations, satellite compass, AIS, and Axis camera system including infrared capability. Five control stations—pilothouse, flybridge, port and starboard wing stations, and foredeck—allow operation from any location. Deck equipment includes two Maxwell hydraulic windlasses with dual 400-foot anchor rodes and 300-pound stainless
