The 2018 Princess V40 is a 42-foot sports cruiser built on a deep-V hull with a fiberglass construction. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 740 horsepower power the yacht. The design emphasizes natural light, with port windows running the length of the hull to illuminate the saloon and cabin spaces. The cockpit features a teak table and equipped wetbar finished in oyster grey, with an optional convertible sunbed positioned aft.

The interior follows a contemporary aesthetic in pewter grey and off-white tones. The saloon and galley create an open entertaining space, while the two cabins offer generous proportions and modern styling. The forward cabin includes an en-suite bathroom with access to the saloon; the aft cabin can be configured with optional sliding berths that convert to a double bed as needed.
