The 2018 Protector Targa 30 is a fiberglass rigid inflatable designed for serious boating. Built on a 31-foot hull with a 9.5-foot beam, it pairs utility and capability with thoughtful details. Power comes from twin Mercury FourStroke 225 HP engines, proven units favored for their efficiency and low operating costs.
The deck layout centers on a factory helm station with grey upholstery and black accents. The helm chair sits alongside a two-section rear bench seat fitted with under-seat coolers. The tubes are finished in black with matching accents, and the console is fully dressed. An electric head and holding tank serve sanitation needs.
Navigation and entertainment are handled by a complete 2018 Garmin electronics suite: a 7612 xsv 12-inch GPS/chartplotter/multifunction display, 210 VHF radio with receiving AIS, transducer with depth sounder, and Fusion stereo with JL speakers and Bluetooth capability. A Garmin GMR dome radar and mast-mounted Seaview riser with LED spotlight controlled from the helm were added in 2019. Lenco trim tabs with automatic retract manage running attitude.
The engines have logged 480 hours. A custom dual-axle trailer is available with the boat.
