2018 Regal 28 Express

This 2018 Regal 28 Express is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by a single Volvo Penta 300 hp V8 gasoline engine with DuoProp drive, which has run 445 hours. The boat measures 28.8 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam and includes a Westerbeke generator for onboard power.

The cabin accommodates overnight cruising with a forward berth and mid-cabin berth, along with an enclosed head featuring a shower and good headroom. The galley is equipped with a microwave, stove, and small refrigerator. Climate control comes via air conditioning and heating. The spacious cockpit offers abundant seating, including a convertible aft seat, plus a wet bar with sink and cooler. A Fusion stereo system handles entertainment, while storage is distributed throughout the boat.

Exterior features include a full canvas enclosure with isinglass, power arch, bow thruster for docking, trim tabs, windlass with spotlight and remote control, underwater lights, and a SeaDek swim platform with integrated steps through the cockpit door for foredeck access. Navigation and electronics are centered on Garmin equipment, including a display, radar, and VHF radio. The boat also features a Volvo Connect system for remote monitoring via smartphone.

Recent work includes new windlass motor and bow roller, fresh paint and clearcoat, new SeaDek on the swim platform, new batteries, new oil lines, and a new fuel injector and spark plug on one cylinder.
