The 2018 Sea Ray L650 Fly is a 65-foot diesel-powered cruiser built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines, each rated at 1,150 horsepower, deliver a cruising speed of 24.5 knots and a maximum speed of 30.5 knots. The boat has accumulated 1,148 hours since new.
The yacht features four staterooms and three heads, with a master suite equipped with air conditioning. The galley is outfitted with four newer drawer refrigerators and an ice maker on the bridge. The full teak cockpit extends across walkways and steps leading to the bridge, where teak tables, newer upholstery, and an opening sunroof provide outdoor and sheltered entertaining space. An aft bridge sunshade and bow sunshade offer weather protection.
Handling and stability are supported by two Sea Keeper gyroscopes, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, and a hydraulic windlass. A 29-kilowatt Onan generator provides power. Navigation and docking are managed through upper and lower electronics stations, autopilot controls, and a Yacht Controller with joystick docking capability available from all three helm stations. Additional equipment includes dual KVH HD7 satellite domes, a spotlight, and a hydraulic swim platform.
The hull was refinished in Aurora Gold approximately four years ago. Custom bedding for all staterooms was installed as part of ongoing maintenance. A 2021 Williams 345 sport jet tender is included with the boat. The yacht has spent more than half its life in fresh water.
