The 2018 SeaHunter 45 Tournament is a center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by four Mercury engines totaling 1600 horsepower. The boat is 45 feet long with a 12-foot beam and was constructed as a custom order with extensive equipment throughout. It cruises at 38 to 42 knots and carries 100 gallons of fresh water for washdown systems.
Navigation and fish-finding equipment includes triple 12-inch Garmin screens, a Garmin commercial transducer rated to 10,000 feet, dual VHF radios, 20-mile digital radar with dual range, and Starlink connectivity. Lighting is provided by six Rigid lights distributed across running, port, starboard, and stern positions. The boat features Seakeeper 5 stabilization, a Westerbeke gasoline generator, air conditioning and heating in the cabin and helm area, and a full enclosure.
The deck layout includes dual-row seating for six passengers, 60 rod holders, a tackle center with sink, and insulated in-floor storage boxes designed to hold 500 to 1,000 pounds each. Dual livewells with high-flow pumps, a center rigger rated 20 feet, and carbon fiber outriggers at 27 feet each support fishing operations. Equipment also includes electric center and outriggers, electric antennas and anchor light, FLIR night vision, trim tabs, and joystick controls with GPS spot lock.
The engines run approximately 1,200 hours and feature Mercury's L6 400R Verado design with HD lower units suited to the joystick control system. The boat is stored lift-kept with no bottom paint applied. A vinyl wrap currently covers the original sky blue hull color.
