The 2018 X-Yachts X4.9 LYRIC is a 49-foot sailing yacht built for both competitive racing and extended cruising. Her hull and keel have been fully race-faired and wet-sanded, and she carries an extensive sail inventory including Quantum and North sails, a carbon bowsprit, and a Facnor furler system for the Code Zero and LRH. She meets all offshore safety requirements and is equipped with comprehensive racing gear.

For cruising, LYRIC features a GRP furler boom, electric winches, a retractable bow thruster, diesel generator, air conditioning, watermaker, and lithium battery systems. She carries extra fuel and water capacity, B&G electronics, Starlink connectivity, and a dinghy garage aft that houses an Achilles tender with Torqeedo outboard. Cockpit amenities include cushions, a dodger, and a bimini.

The interior accommodates three double-berth cabins with additional sea berths in the two aft cabins, plus a spacious owner's cabin forward. Two heads include a forward shower stall.
