2019 Com-Pac Sun Cat

The 2019 Com-Pac Sun Cat is a 17-foot fiberglass sloop designed as a shoal-draft daysailer and overnighter. With a beam of 7.25 feet and centerboard design, the boat draws minimal water, making it well-suited for exploring coastal areas, harbors, and creeks where deeper-draft yachts cannot venture. The Sun Cat features the Mastendr quick-rig system with a single, highly adjustable sail and a stainless steel centerboard mounted in a fiberglass trunk, engineered to simplify rigging and maintenance while remaining easy to sail.

Power comes from an EPropulsion electric motor paired with both wall and solar charging capability. The straightforward rig and electric propulsion make the boat practical for extended cruising and exploration without the complexity of traditional systems.

The boat is in solid condition with only minor wear. A storage cover shows age, and surface rust appears on the trailer neck. The Mastendr quick-rig system functions as designed, allowing practical trailering while maintaining the boat's sailing simplicity. A galvanized trailer is included for easy transport and storage.
