The 2019 Coral Coast 62 is a custom-built aluminum flybridge catamaran designed for extended cruising and family comfort. At 62 feet long with a 21-foot beam, the hull offers substantial volume and stability. Twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines deliver 818 horsepower each and have logged only 960 hours; the catamaran cruises efficiently at 18 knots and reaches 26 knots at speed. Shaft-driven propulsion and a shallow draft make her well-suited to reef exploration and remote anchorages. The wide beam creates considerably more interior space than comparable monohulls, while protected shafts and an aluminum construction ensure durability for serious cruising.
Four cabins accommodate nine people in beds, with a triple bunk room, three double rooms, and additional sleeping options in the saloon. Nine heads service the accommodation. The open-plan galley features a full-sized pantry, four-burner electric stove with oven and grill, microwave, stainless steel barbecue, Fisher and Paykel dishwasher and refrigerator, separate drinks fridges, and a rear top-load freezer. An LG washer and dryer support extended voyages. Full air conditioning throughout the boat keeps living spaces comfortable in warm climates.
The flybridge offers 360-degree visibility and houses the helm station; a second control station with Dockmate Twist remote sits in the cockpit. Raymarine electronics include open array radar and autopilot. Bow and stern thrusters at both helms make single-handed operation manageable in close quarters. An Onan 13.5 kVA generator and 3,000-watt inverter provide onboard power, while a Stella Marine water maker produces 100 liters per hour. Four Aqualuma underwater lights illuminate the hull at night.
Deck layout includes wide walk-around side decks, a spacious bow area, and an oversized cockpit suitable for entertaining or fishing. A Steelhead 1100 davit crane and AB Navigo Mercury 30 horsepower tender are mounted on the roof. The fully enclosed and air-conditioned flybridge can serve as additional sleeping or living space. Full breezeaway covers protect the rear, and generous storage throughout supports long-range cruising. Fuel capacity of 5,400 liters enables extended range without frequent refueling.
