2019 Custom Patago 40

The Patago 40 is a 2019 aluminum sailing yacht built to cross oceans. Its design integrates an aluminum sprayhood with rounded contours shaped to shed extreme weather. The hull and systems are engineered for strength and reliability in demanding conditions.

Power comes from a Hynamed diesel engine rated at 55 horsepower with approximately 350 engine hours. The yacht carries a folding propeller. The mainsail and genoa are Hydranet fabric, and a second furler accommodates a gennaker.

Two cabins provide sleeping space for four people, making the layout suitable for extended cruising. The yacht is equipped with solar panels, a wind generator, and a watermaker to support self-sufficiency offshore. The boat was hauled out and antifouled in 2025.
