The 2019 Egret 290 is a 29-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Suzuki 300 hp engines. The boat reaches 55 knots at top speed and cruises at 38 knots, with 959 hours on the engines logged and routine service completed every 100 hours. A 238-gallon fuel capacity supports extended range to fishing grounds. A dual-axle trailer is included.
Navigation and fish-finding electronics include dual Simrad evo2 12-inch screens, Simrad autopilot, and Simrad dome radar. The helm also features three Suzuki C10 gauges. A Seakeeper gyro is integrated into the center console for stabilization while running or at rest. A Rhodan 36-volt trolling motor with 120-pound thrust offers spot-lock capability.
The layout combines serious fishing capability with comfort. Forward are massive fish boxes with custom pop-up seating above them. The aft section holds additional fish boxes, a live well, and custom removable seating that converts to a cutting board. A Frigid Rigid cooler slides in and out for convenience. Shurflow live well and washdown pumps support fishing operations. New SeaDek non-skid covering has been recently installed.
Audio and comfort features include a JL Audio sound system with four 8.8-inch speakers, two 7.7-inch speakers, a 10-inch subwoofer, and JL Audio amplifiers.
