The 2019 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 is a performance catamaran built for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. Measuring 38.5 feet with a 21.75-foot beam, she combines the dual-hull stability of a catamaran with strong sailing capability. Twin Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engines deliver 30 horsepower each, turning 3-blade folding propellers via saildrive. The boat cruises at 6 knots and reaches 8 knots at full throttle, with just 1,550 engine hours on the clock.

The Owner's Version layout dedicates the entire starboard hull to the owner's suite, featuring a king bed, ensuite with electric head and walk-in shower, office nook, and dedicated storage. Two additional cabins on the port side each hold a double bed and private head with shower. The main saloon seats eight at the dining table, which converts to a bed, and includes an L-shaped settee for six. A fully equipped galley has a three-burner stove with oven, 144-liter fridge, freezer, and pressurized water system.

Electrical and mechanical systems reflect serious cruising intent. A 6-kilowatt Cummins Onan generator backs four AGM batteries totaling 400 amp-hours, a Victron MultiPlus inverter-charger, and three 100-watt solar panels. Full reverse-cycle air conditioning, electric winches, and a Garmin suite including autopilot, radar, and dual plotter screens handle navigation and comfort. A Rocna 33-kilogram anchor with electric windlass and 80 meters of chain complete the ground tackle.

Recent work includes engine and generator servicing in 2026, full gelcoat repairs and deck resealing in early 2025, and saloon upholstery refresh in 2024. The boat comes with a 2024 SUR 325 RIB tender powered by a Yamaha 20-horsepower outboard, complete with trailer. Deck gear includes bimini, davits, hot and cold cockpit shower, and cushioned sun areas forward and aft.
