The 2019 Galeon 550 Fly is a 55-foot fiberglass flybridge cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta D11-725 diesel engines producing 1,450 horsepower combined. The engines carry approximately 420 hours of operation. The boat features a hydraulic swim platform with tender chocks, teak decking throughout, and salon doors that fold completely open. Navigation is supported by dual Raymarine displays, Volvo Penta engine display, a Seakeeper gyrostabilizer, bow and stern thrusters, and trim tabs.
The main saloon includes a Kenyon stove top, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and convertible seating that transforms into a dinette. The galley and salon both have air conditioning. A hidden television is integrated into the salon, and an Onan generator provides onboard power. The aft deck features an L-shaped settee with an extendable table and teak folding chairs.
Sleeping accommodations include a forward stateroom with a queen berth, two closets, and a skylight; a starboard stateroom with a double bed and full-size closet; and a full-beam master stateroom with a queen bed, night stands with storage, dresser, full-size closet, writer's desk, and smart television. The master has a private head with an enclosed shower and rainfall showerhead. An additional head with enclosed shower and rainfall showerhead serves the guest staterooms.
The flybridge features seating for up to ten, a forward sunpad, an extendable table, an Isotherm refrigerator and freezer, a grill, and an electronic sunshade. A separate helm station on the flybridge includes a Raymarine display, Volvo Penta display, Fusion stereo control, bow and stern thrusters, and Lenco trim tabs. Captain's quarters are also included.
