The Hanse 588 is a 56-foot cruising sailboat built in 2019 with a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 196 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine. Her design emphasizes spacious, light-filled interiors and outdoor entertaining. A protective T-top shields the cockpit and provides weather protection, while the broad beam of 17 feet maximizes interior volume. The boat accommodates up to 12 guests across multiple deck spaces, with convertible tables that transform into sunbeds and additional loungers on deck for relaxation.
Below decks, the saloon features high headroom and an open layout finished in Canadian chestnut wood with Valencia brown upholstery. Large hull windows and overhead hatches flood the space with natural light. The electrically lowerable saloon table converts into an additional double berth when needed. Four cabins and four heads serve different purposes: a full-beam master cabin with central island berth, private head, and separate shower; two spacious aft VIP cabins, each with double berth, hull windows, generous storage, and independent ensuite heads with showers; and a fourth cabin. The master features sound isolation to minimize noise intrusion.
The galley is well-equipped for extended cruising, with a three-burner gas stove and oven, ventilation hood, double stainless-steel sink with mixing tap, 140-liter refrigerator, separate freezer, espresso machine, and filter coffee machine. Cabinetry includes soft-close doors and durable work surfaces throughout. A hydraulic bathing platform provides easy water access and serves as a tender launch system. The boat includes a tender equipped with a 10 hp outboard engine and features a spacious garage aft for tender and equipment storage.
