2019 Jeanneau 51

The Jeanneau 51 is a luxury performance cruiser designed by Philippe Briand with interiors by Andrew Winch. This 2019 example combines elegant European styling with genuine offshore capability, featuring a powerful hull form with distinctive hard chines and a substantial fin keel that delivers stability and pace. Twin wheels and a well-organised cockpit enable short-handed sailing, while a Yanmar 110hp diesel with folding propeller provides efficient cruising. A bow thruster and Raymarine autopilot support confident manoeuvrability, and a drop-down transom platform facilitates boarding, provisioning, and swimming.

Below deck, the Light ALPI Oak interior is refined and exceptionally spacious. The three-cabin layout includes a forward owner's suite with centreline berth and private ensuite, plus a dedicated utility cabin. Large hull windows flood the saloon with natural light. The galley is fully equipped with ample refrigeration, gas cooking, microwave, and onboard washer/dryer. Webasto heating provides comfort for extended cruising, and two heads serve the accommodation.

The sail plan has been recently updated and includes a new Doyle furling mainsail, new Jeckells high-clew genoa, self-tacking jib, asymmetric spinnaker, and Code Zero. Electric Harken primaries and quality deck hardware reflect the yacht's high specification. The rig is supported by comprehensive Raymarine electronics including multifunction plotters at each helm and navigation station, Doppler radar, and autopilot, supplemented by a standalone Hydrovane self-steering system. Navigation and cruising systems include a heavy-duty Rocna anchor with 100m chain, tender on davits, and upgraded charging with large gel battery bank, high-output alternator, 1.175kW solar panels, and inverters. An Aqua-Base watermaker supports extended passages, with fuel capacity of 460 litres and water capacity of 400 litres. Antifouling was topped up in August 2025.
