The JPK 1030 is a proven offshore racer designed by Jean-Pierre Kelbert's Brittany yard, recognized for its balance of power, control, and short-handed handling. This 2019 example is set up competitively with a carbon Axxon mast and boom, rod rigging, and both asymmetric and symmetric sail configurations. The boat carries a complete North Sails wardrobe built between 2020 and 2024, including a new mainsail and A2 from 2024.
Power comes from a Volvo D1-20F engine rated at 20 horsepower with 605 hours on the meter, paired with a Gori Racing propeller and serviced annually. The boat is fitted with upgraded lithium battery systems—two 130Ah banks—shore power, and a charger. Navigation and autopilot are handled by a full NKE Gyro pilot system with dual pilots and comprehensive offshore instrumentation.
The boat meets OSR Category 2 requirements and carries a serviced four-person liferaft last serviced in February 2024. Systems throughout have been maintained by an experienced owner with continuous optimization. The 33-foot design offers the balance and control needed for serious short-handed offshore racing.
