The 2019 Key West 230 Bay Reef is a 23-foot fiberglass bay boat built for shallow-water and inshore fishing. Powered by a Yamaha F250 EFI 4-stroke with 279 hours, it features a 6-inch Atlas jack plate and trim tabs to optimize shallow-water performance. The design combines ample rod storage with open cockpit space—an evolution of the smaller 210 model, with added length and beam that provide increased depth both at the transom and throughout the boat.
This boat carries extensive fishing equipment. The leaning post includes flip-up bolster seats on each side, four rod holders, and a 94-quart cooler. The front deck has a complete fish chair, with a second chair base on the rear deck. A Minn Kota 112LB Ulterra trolling motor with iPilot and 36-volt battery system, plus front and rear baitwell bubblers, support serious angling. Dual Humminbird Solix touchscreens with 360 imaging provide navigation and sonar, supported by a VHF radio with console-mounted antenna.
The boat is outfitted with comfort and convenience features including a tan Bimini top, LED navigation lights integrated into the white stainless steel rub rail, Jensen Bluetooth stereo system, LED interior and console lighting, and a high-pressure raw water washdown system. Two 10-foot black Power Poles are mounted for anchoring, and rod holders are positioned throughout the boat. The rear deck includes a center cushion with removable backrest.
The boat includes a custom-built Wesco tandem-axle aluminum trailer with LED lights, aluminum wheels, disc brakes on both axles, radial tires, upright guide poles, and a matching spare wheel and tire.
