The Leopard 40 is a 2019 catamaran built by Robertson & Caine, a South African builder renowned for blue-water performance. Designed by naval architects Simonis and Voogd in collaboration with Robertson & Caine's team, this 40-foot boat combines speed and seaworthiness with a modern layout. Two 58-horsepower Yammer diesel engines power the yacht, which has a beam of just over 21 feet and fiberglass construction throughout.
The interior layout is unconventional for the class. The galley sits forward, while the saloon features a forward-facing settee with large windows and direct access to the forward platform. Sliding glass doors open from the saloon to the aft cockpit, creating an open flow between inside and outside spaces. Four cabins and two heads accommodate cruising families and guests, with the expanded hull volume providing generous accommodation throughout.
The boat recently completed a full refit at a service base in St. Lucia, undertaken following a comprehensive independent survey commissioned by the previous owner. That survey documentation is available to review. The yacht is ready for departure and further cruising.
