2015 Nautitech 40 Open

The 2015 Nautitech 40 Open is a performance cruising catamaran built around an open-air living concept suited to tropical waters. At nearly 40 feet long with a 23-foot beam, this fiberglass hull design combines sailing capability with a bright, flexible layout. The boat carries four cabins and two heads, with a saloon and expansive cockpit that flow together as one continuous living space, designed for natural ventilation and clear sightlines underway.

Twin 60-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines with approximately 2,400 hours power the catamaran. The sailing inventory is substantial: a new mainsail (2026), gennaker on furler, self-tacking jib, and symmetric spinnaker cover a range of wind conditions. Navigation equipment includes a full Raymarine suite with Axiom chartplotter, AIS, radar, hydraulic autopilot, and sonar capability.

The boat is outfitted for extended cruising with serious attention to self-sufficiency. A 60 liters-per-hour Dessalator watermaker with integrated rain-catcher system provides fresh water. Power comes from 900 watts of solar panels paired with an 800-amp-hour battery bank (2025) and Victron management systems. The galley features a full-size 250-liter domestic refrigerator-freezer (2024) and an ENO stove-oven (2024). Starlink connectivity supports offshore communication. The boat has been privately owned and never chartered through multiple ownerships, with regular maintenance and upgrades documented through its service history.
