The 2019 Leopard 43 Powercat is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising. Twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 640 horsepower deliver a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. The design uses narrow hulls to optimize fuel efficiency—consuming roughly 10 liters per hour at 8 knots and 60 liters per hour at cruise speed—while the stepped hull configuration maximizes interior volume without compromising performance.

The boat accommodates three cabins and two heads. The interior layout places the galley forward and the main settee with dining table aft, creating an open-plan feel enhanced by sliding glass doors that open to the aft cockpit and a large forward window with direct bow access. This arrangement delivers panoramic views throughout the living spaces.

The flybridge spans the beam and includes a grill, wet bar, and direct access to a forward sunbathing platform. The original owner specified substantial upgrades including 650AH AGM house batteries, a large solar array, and a water maker—all designed to support serious voyaging without frequent reliance on shore power or facilities.
