2019 Moody DS 54

The 2019 Moody DS 54 is a 54-foot motor sailer built in fiberglass with a single Volvo Penta 150 hp diesel engine. The yacht combines cruising capability with sailing potential, featuring a shaft drive with a four-bladed folding propeller, electric bow and stern thrusters, and full sail control with an electric stay sail, self-tacking jib, and main. Power systems include eight AGM Victron service batteries, two 400W solar panels, and a Fisher Panda 15000i generator. A water maker produces 220 liters per hour, with fuel capacity of 320 liters and 900 liters of fresh water storage.

The accommodation centers on four cabins and three heads, each cabin fitted with individual Dometic air conditioning units providing hot and cold climate control. A Miele washer and dryer, dishwasher, and galley with gas oven and three-burner hob support extended voyaging. The saloon includes three refrigerators and entertainment with a television with motorized lift and sound system.

Navigation and control are handled by a comprehensive Raymarin suite: Quantum radar, autopilot with remote, GPS plotter with three Pro touchscreen displays, radio, and AIS. The yacht carries an Aer Marine dinghy with electric Torqeedo motor and is equipped with an electric gangway, night vision camera, and automatic fire extinguishing.
