2019 Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot

The 2019 Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot is a 59-foot fiberglass motor yacht with twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines producing 715 horsepower each. This Motor Yacht version of the Coastal Pilot series extends the salon and galley aft by approximately four feet and relocates the cockpit aft as well, creating a full-height engine room that runs to the transom. The result is a spacious, well-proportioned layout with exceptional interior volume and an extended boat deck and flybridge that add considerable usable outdoor space.

The three-cabin interior features cherry wood cabinetry with a 60 percent gloss varnish and textured bulkhead coverings. The aft galley is fitted with top-of-the-line appliances, a built-in Bosch refrigerator with freezer, and large windows overlooking the salon. The forward salon has a helm station on the starboard side with an L-shaped settee opposite, a dinette seating four to five, and a lift-mounted television. Forward accommodations include a VIP guest cabin with queen berth and natural light from portlights and overhead Lewmar hatches, a bunk cabin with upper and lower bunks, and an owner's suite with queen berth and full-beam head. A guest head serves the forward cabins, and a Bosch 800 Series washer and dryer are discretely located on the lower landing. The flybridge features a four-sided removable enclosure, multiple seating areas, and a hardtop with integrated lighting. The foredeck serves as a lounge area with custom sundeck cushions and integrated handrails and cup holders.

Power and systems throughout are premium-grade: Furuno navigation electronics, Magnum 5kw inverter/charger, Sea Recovery watermaker, SidePower bow and stern thrusters, Bennett trim tabs, and a comprehensive Fusion audio-visual system spanning the salon, flybridge, and aft deck. Recent upgrades completed in 2024 and 2025 include installation of DPS dynamic positioning, a Zero Speed ABT stabilizer, Starlink connectivity, cutlass bearing replacement, davit hydraulic line replacement, dripless shaft seals, engine alignment, bottom paint, and full-service maintenance. A Highfield 390 center console tender with 50-horsepower Yamaha outboard and 1,000-pound Steelhead davit are included. The engine room is notably spacious with full headroom and organized storage throughout.
