The 2019 Ranger Tugs R-31 Command Bridge is a fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising while maintaining trailerable proportions. At just over 31 feet with a 10-foot beam, this model introduces several firsts for the Ranger Tugs line, notably a retractable flybridge with electronic controls at both helm stations, designed to collapse for road transport without compromising the boat's cruising capability.

The layout prioritizes both entertaining and practical seamanship. The flybridge features seating and can be configured for dining or relaxation. The foredeck includes a raised and lowered table for at-anchor socializing. A wraparound cockpit with fold-out gunwale seating provides flexible gathering spaces that stow cleanly when under way. A starboard door from the lower helm leads directly to the side decks and bow for easy line handling.

Below deck, two staterooms provide accommodation—a large island berth forward with private head and a midship berth served by a day head. The galley and lower helm station are positioned to maximize usable interior space. The boat is powered by a single Volvo D4 diesel engine rated at 300 horsepower, delivering approximately 20 knots at cruise speed. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, preparing the boat for hands-on handling in tight waters and at anchor.
