2019 Yamaha Boats 190 FSH Sport

The 2019 Yamaha 190 FSH Sport is a 19-foot center console jet boat with a redesigned hull and deck that is three inches longer and two inches wider than the previous generation. These dimensional gains translate directly into increased storage and improved functionality throughout the boat. The single 180-horsepower Yamaha engine powers a jet drive system, which keeps the transom completely open for fishing, towing, and water activities.

The boat prioritizes accessible storage across its layout. The bow features enlarged compartments with integrated Plano organizer trays in the portside mini-pod, while the starboard side opens to a large storage area. A wide hatch improves access and light. The center console lifts to reveal deep storage that can be configured as a changing room or head with an included curtain enclosure. The leaning post behind the helm has a dedicated cooler space underneath, and additional storage runs along the port side aft. Rod holders total 14 across the boat—six vertical holders on the console sides, four under the gunnels, and four flush-mount options on deck—with the Sport model adding four rocket launchers on the T-top.

The helm includes a 4.3-inch Yamaha Connext touchscreen with an updated 2019 interface, stainless steel sports steering wheel, removable windshield, and dedicated space for flush-mount electronics. Controls include rocker switches for No Wake Mode and Cruise Assist. The starboard side carries a 25-gallon live well with dual pumps controlled from the helm. A redesigned jet wash system with three RPM settings for pressure control cleans the deck using water thrust from the drive. The boat sits on a two-tier swim platform with a retractable stern ladder, tow eye for watersports, and a bucket compartment.

The 2019 model introduces a V-shaped reverse bucket to improve handling in reverse, a redesigned articulating keel that reduces drag while preserving low-speed control, and enhanced corrosion protection to the jet pump and driveline through a three-step process combining Alumite coating, ceramic finish, and epoxy paint. The longer, wider hull is engineered to reduce bow rise under acceleration and minimize hull packing in choppy conditions.
