2020 Alerion Express 33

The 2020 Alerion Express 33 is a 33-foot fiberglass sloop built for single-handed and short-handed sailing. The boat features a carbon-fiber mast, full-roach mainsail, and self-tacking jib paired with electric winches for easy sail handling across all wind conditions. The modern underbody design complements the traditional sheer and topsides, creating a balanced performer on all points of sail.

The sail plan includes a Doyle mainsail and jib built the previous year, along with a Doyle UPS light-air sail fitted with an integral top-down furler that sees minimal use. The yacht's systems are configured for effortless operation by a small crew or single operator.

Below deck, the single cabin accommodates overnight stays with one head. Power comes from a 20-horsepower Volvo diesel engine. The boat measures 33 feet in length with a 9.25-foot beam, making it a compact platform suited to day sailing and weekend cruising.
