The 2020 American Tug 362 is a 36.5-foot fiberglass cruiser built for Pacific Northwest waters. Powered by a single 260 hp Volvo diesel engine with roughly 1,930 hours, it cruises at 7.5 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots. The hull features extended side rails running to the stern for safer deck movement.
The interior accommodates two cabins with a forward v-berth and second cabin, plus a convertible dinette and single head with separate enclosed shower. Wood trim and custom cabinetry line the salon, which adjoins a well-equipped galley with a microwave, two-burner propane stove and oven, and large refrigerator-freezer. A diesel hydronic heater with multiple thermostats provides year-round comfort. The boat carries a 600 amp-hour AGM house bank, 2000 watt inverter, 330 watt solar panel on the pilothouse, and a 5kW Northern Lights generator for extended cruising away from the dock.
Navigation and docking gear include a Garmin electronics suite with dual 12-inch chart plotters, electric windlass with anchor washdown, bow and stern thrusters, backup camera, and a Dockmate remote docking system. A Seawise davit system deploys a 10-foot Achilles tender with 20hp Tohatsu outboard for tender operations. Starlink connectivity is installed.
The upper deck provides open space for relaxation and entertaining. The boat includes a 10-foot tender with 20hp outboard.
