The 2020 Arcadia Sherpa 60 is a 61-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines delivering 960 horsepower. The yacht reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a cruising speed of 16 knots, and features joystick control for seamless maneuvering.
The yacht accommodates guests with one cabin and two heads. The interior and exterior spaces reflect a focus on quality finishes: full teak decking in the pilothouse, custom Italian seating at the helm and navigator station, and a comprehensive LED lighting system throughout. Climate control is provided by air conditioning, while navigation and entertainment systems include a Raymarine suite and premium audio-visual equipment.
Notable updates and features include upgraded IPS 650 engines, a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer for reduced roll, bow thruster with remote control, solar panels, and a 400-kilogram davit crane integrated into a midship garage. The second-generation hull incorporates a shaped keel and an enlarged swim platform. The yacht carries a small ZAR tender for exploration. An aluminum-framed glass door was added as a custom modification. Two dummy domes are fitted, one pre-wired for future antenna and decoder installation.
