2020 Beneteau First 53

The Beneteau First 53 is a 2020 performance cruiser built around clean lines and uncluttered deck space. A single-point mainsheet, four electric winches, and all controls led back to twin carbon wheels make her efficient for short-handed sailing, yet her five-meter beam and open layout welcome crew and guests equally. A Yanmar 110-horsepower diesel engine powers her to a cruising speed of 8.5 knots, with a maximum speed of just over 9 knots.

Accommodations consist of three cabins and two heads. The owner's cabin sits forward and is lit by large portlights and a deck hatch. An en-suite head and walk-in shower serve the forward area. Two symmetrical guest cabins aft have a shared head and large walk-in shower. The L-shaped galley on the port side offers substantial storage and counter space, with a gimbaled stove and oven. The dining table converts between four and six places, and a generous L-shaped lounge on the starboard side looks out over the deck.

The boat is equipped with a generator, air conditioning, bow thruster, and electric winches. Twin rudders and a self-tacking jib simplify operation. Full teak decks, a dark blue hull, and black spars complete the finish.
