2020 Blackfin 272 CC

The 2020 Blackfin 272 CC is a 27-foot center console built on an advanced carbon fiber hull laminate with vinylester barrier coat protection. Twin Mercury engines rated at 500 hp drive the boat, supported by a robust electrical system with isolated battery banks, individual circuit protection, and weatherproof components. The hull incorporates trim tabs with auto-retract and a bonding system for underwater gear protection.

The open cockpit layout centers on an elevated helm platform with foldaway design and Sea Dek surface. The helm station includes power-assisted tilt steering with stainless steel wheel, digital engine monitoring, compass, and dual 12V outlets with USB charging. Seating spans the boat with removable forward-facing bow backrests, console helm seats with flip-up bolsters and armrests, and a foldaway transom bench. The bow features a U-shaped cushioned seat with bolsters and combing protection.

The cockpit is equipped for fishing and extended time on the water. Twin 54-gallon insulated in-floor fish boxes, a 30-gallon insulated baitwell with blue/white LED lighting and poly lid, and self-bailing fiberglass liner with non-skid surface form the working deck. An electric head with holding tank and pump-out deck fitting serves the forward cabin area. Fresh and raw water wash-down stations, eleven drink holders, and courtesy LED lighting complete the cockpit amenities.

Additional systems include an automatic bilge pump with high water alarm, anchor windlass with stainless steel anchor and through-hull roller hardware, battery charger with deck plug, water-separating dual fuel filters, and six stainless steel pull-up cleats. Heavy-duty rub rail with stainless insert and bow and stern eyes with backing plates round out the construction details.
