The 2020 Blackwater 41 Tournament is a center console built for serious offshore fishing and tournament use. Powered by quad Mercury 300 V8 Verado engines totaling 1,200 horsepower with 520 hours on the engines, the boat combines range and bluewater capability with the performance needed for competitive fishing. A bow thruster, trim tabs, and autopilot aid handling in varied conditions.
The helm features redundant Garmin navigation: two GPSMAP 8617 displays, a GPSMAP 7612xsv, open array radar, and VHF radio. Digital switching with custom-labeled panels controls the boat's systems. Lighting throughout includes overhead LED, spreader lights forward and aft, underwater lights, and transom lighting. An eisenglass helm enclosure and skylight overhead complete the fighting area.
Fishing equipment is comprehensive: three livewells, a sea chest system, insulated fish boxes with macerator, and 54 rod holders split between the transom, gunwales, and T-top. Taco outriggers, a dive door with ladder, and saltwater washdown support fishing operations. Dual baitwell pumps with auxiliary pumps and dual bilge pumps handle circulation and drainage. Seating includes a mezzanine with cooler and fold-down transom seating. The cabin has a marine head with sink and upgraded upholstery throughout.
A custom audio system with four JL Audio amplifiers, multiple JL Audio and Wet Sounds speakers, and six subwoofers provides entertainment. Freshwater and saltwater systems support daily operations. SeaDek flooring covers the deck, and all hardware is stainless steel.
