The Spectral 50m is a 164-foot steel-hulled ocean cruiser built by Dutch shipyard Bloemsma & Balk. Designed by Christopher Seymour with input from Carl Esch, the yacht combines robust construction with extensive outdoor living spaces. The main aft deck spans 145 square meters and flows into a 40-square-meter upper aft deck, while the 75-square-meter sundeck provides additional al fresco areas. A pool occupies the main deck aft, surrounded by sun loungers and a lounge with bar service. A retractable sun canopy shades the deck when needed, and the pool can be covered for additional usable space or converted to a helipad.
The yacht accommodates five cabins with six heads. Interior and exterior spaces are designed for comfortable ocean cruising, with the layout emphasizing open-air living balanced against shelter and shade options.
Power comes from diesel engines delivering a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Naval architecture for the Spectral series was developed by van Oossanen Naval Architects, with emphasis on hydrodynamic balance, performance efficiency, and minimizing vibration and noise.
