The 2020 Boston Whaler 280 Outrage is a 28-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin 400-horsepower Mercury outboards. This model combines open-water capability with practical comfort, designed to serve equally well as a fishing platform, watersports boat, or day cruiser.
The helm features an adjustable captain's chair and stationary companion seat, with a tempered-glass windshield and wiper. The navigation suite includes dual 12-inch Raymarine Axiom Pro displays. Aft of the console, a folding bench seat clears space for active fishing, while the bow offers a large lounge with armrests and generous seating. The boat includes a premium hardtop with five rod holders, integrated speakers, and storage. A deluxe leaning post sits amidships with a bait-prep counter, 30-gallon livewell, and three large fishboxes.
Equipment includes fold-down trolling seats, premium canvas package with bow and stern shades, bow table, stainless steel anchor with windlass, VHF and satellite radio, Fusion stereo system, and white rubrail with stainless steel insert. A USCG kit and spotlight complete the outfit. The boat has one head.
