The 2020 Boston Whaler 380 Outrage is a 38-foot center console built on the brand's unsinkable fiberglass hull and powered by four Mercury engines delivering 1200 total horsepower. The boat combines open-water capability with integrated electronics and fishing-focused design.
Raymarine technology forms the core of the electronics suite, including dual 16-inch Axiom XL displays with glass dash integration, a 48-inch open array radar with satellite weather, and a 9-inch Axiom for the upper station. Additional systems include Icom VHF radio, FLIR thermal imaging with pan and tilt, four underwater lights, an underwater camera, and satellite radio. Joystick Piloting comes standard, with upper station control available as an option.
The layout centers on an open fishing deck aft with room for tackle and rigging. Forward, bow lounges provide seating, while an air-conditioned cabin houses an enclosed head. Standard features include Mercury integration throughout the propulsion and control systems. Optional upgrades available include gyroscopic stabilization, anchor windlass, retractable electric sun shade, dual fold-down trolling seats, radial outriggers, and various canvas configurations. A diesel generator was installed in summer 2025.
