2020 Cobalt R7 Surf

The 2020 Cobalt R7 Surf is a 27-foot fiberglass bowrider powered by a Volvo V8 engine with Forward Drive technology. Featuring Volvo Penta's duoprop transmission and forward-facing propellers, the R7 Surf delivers the controlled stern platform and clean wake essential for wakesurfing. The hull is engineered for stability in larger conditions while maintaining responsive handling in the tighter confines of inland waters. A computerized ballast system fine-tunes weight distribution to optimize wake shape and ride quality.

The boat accommodates family and friends with thoughtful design throughout. A head with electric porcelain toilet and macerator is fitted below deck. The cockpit features a dinette table with sunpad receptacles, a separate sunpad filler cushion, sink console, and sea grass flooring. Multiple tonneau covers protect both bow and cockpit areas. A stainless steel arch with integrated sunshade frames the helm while wakeboard racks and an air compressor with holder stand ready for watersports.
