The 2020 Cobia 262 is a 26-foot center console built on the brand's established platform, powered by twin 300-horsepower Yamaha engines. The design adds a hardtop with integrated windshield frame and a helm console to the foundation of the 261, combining contemporary styling with functional ergonomics. The layout prioritizes walk-around space and storage throughout the cockpit.
Standard equipment includes hydraulic SeaStar steering, an electric windlass with stainless anchor, 300 feet of line, and wireless remote operation. The boat is fitted with electric trim tabs and tab indicator, a two-tone gel coat hardtop with undersides matching the hull, and a stainless Edson steering wheel with power knob. Four flush-mount rod holders are integrated into the design, with an additional rod rack at the leaning post.
Accommodations include a six-piece cushion set with forward-facing backrest at the helm and an electric head with macerator and port window. Power is routed through a CL DEC control system with six-gauge fly-by-wire throttle management. Additional features encompass an underwater light package in blue, a fish pump with macerator, an upgraded bilge pump switch, and a cockpit toe rail. Optional equipment available includes a full three-sided windshield with electric wiper and vent, and a deluxe electronics package with black acrylic infinity dash.
